Starting Bark & Co. Pet Grooming in 2025 has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life, but the journey here wasn’t a straight line. After years in completely different careers, I realised I wanted something more meaningful — something that felt true to who I am. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, but it wasn’t until I welcomed my own dog, Chai, into my life that everything clicked.

Chai, our resident CFO (Chief Furry Officer) and lovable cockapoo, completely changed the way I saw the world of pet care. Watching her grow, learn, and experience her first grooms inspired me to take the leap into a new profession — one where I could combine passion, purpose, and creativity every single day.

That inspiration led me to train professionally and achieve my iPET Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management, a qualification that gave me the skills, confidence, and knowledge to create a grooming experience centred around kindness, patience, and quality.

Bark & Co. was built with heart. My goal is to create a calm, positive, and welcoming environment where every pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Whether it’s a puppy’s first groom, a nervous dog needing reassurance, or a regular pamper session, I work at each pet’s pace — always with compassion at the core.

What started as a career change has become a true calling, and I’m incredibly proud of the community Bark & Co. is growing into. I can’t wait to welcome you and your furry family member into the salon.
